| Thunderdome 2005, 3 rd of December Jaarbeurs Utrecht In 1993 the 2nd chapter of this massive event took place in the Jaarbeurs located in Utrecht. More than 25.000 people were part of this legenday event! The Prins Willem van Oranje Hal was filled to the notch with tough guys and chicks that wanted to experience something else. After this event Thunderdome dominated the hardcore scene! With events that took place in Groningen (Martini hallen), FEC in Leeuwarden, The Expo in Hengelo, The Thialf in Heerenveen, De Ray in (Amsterdam) and outside the Netherlands in Oberhausen (DE), Antwerpen (Be), Schwerin (DE) even in Australia there were more than a million visitors that experienced the Thunderdome feeling. There is still no Dance Event that got close to these numbers. Next to the amount of visitors Thunderdome was not only an event concept, there were more than 3 million cds sold in the Netherlands and The Thunderdome concept was also released in Germany and Spain. There were more than 30 tours events around the globe. Even more surprising is that there are more than 100 people in the Netherlands who have a tattoo of the famous logo that’s named “The Puppet” also known as “The Wizard”! We can go on continuously with arguments about Thunderdome but it is clear! Thunderdome was, Thunderdome is and Thunderdome will always be! On the 3rd of December one of the most beauty full parts of the Jaarbeurs Complex will be transformed in the hardcore happening of 2005! After producing a spectacular Thunderdome event in 2004, were more than 20.000 ravers experienced a event were the sound was hard, the atmosphere was friendly and the djs were rocking the decks Thunderdome will take you back to the early days were it all started and how its used to be! Next to the massive Prins Willem van Oranje hall there will be a second area just like last year! Only the best artists from now and then will have the opportunity to get the sympathy of the criticism of the hardcore minded people!
