The amazing recreational Area Bussloo in the Netherlands has forever been carved in the minds of all people supporting the harder musical styles since 1993…. It was at this particular location where Mysteryland, at that time the only Dutch festival programming the harder styles, laid the foundation for what soon became an international phenomenon creating a vast group of followers…

Many years later, the harder styles returned to these sacred grounds on the 1 st of July 2006 presenting a brand new concept in a futuristic and sinister setting: Ground Zero – The Underground Night Gathering. Both organisations behind this mega event - UDC and Multigroove - already successfully collaborated during Impulz 2004 and soon after that, plans were made to develop “something huge” at Recreational Area Bussloo. And huge it became.

Ground Zero - The Underground Night Gathering presented an open air festival of harder styles, unique in its kind as it was held during the night, consisting of eight areas of which two open air. Hardstyle, hardhouse, hardtrance, old school / early bass, hardcore / darkcore, schranz and psy trance covered a big spectrum of harder styles presented by a fantastic line-up of 86 artists, which showed a nicely balanced combination of established and underground national and international performers. Some very unique back-to-back combinations were formed, accompanied by live-acts rarely to perform in The Netherlands.

CD1
One of the biggest headliners on the Ground Zero main stage was, without a doubt, the Italian master of turntabelism, Daniele Mondello. This DJ is well known for his tight mixing, his fierce selection of typical Italian and Dutch hardstyle with an underground edge, and combining this all with tight spot-on scratching and turntable tricks. Daniele Mondello selected 21 of the latest hardstyle bombs showing a great combination of the newest Italian and Dutch releases on CD1.

CD2
The Ground Zero hardcore area programmed a fine line up with national and international hardcore and early rave grandmasters. One of them is the legendary Amsterdam based DJ Buzz Fuzz, known for his many hits produced under aliases such as DJ Buzz Fuzz, Tony Salmonelli, Square Dimensione (with DJ Gizmo), Pino D’Ambini, Bertocucci Feranzano and notorious for his frantic DJ sets as 25% of the infamous Dreamteam. For CD2, The Buzz dove into his immense pile of early rave records and hand-picked 22 of his all time personal favourites; expect a slammin’ mix of Buzz’s own classics, those good old PCP tracks and a choice of Italian and Dutch early rave!!

DVD
The live registration DVD shows the highlights of this newest, freshest and hardest Dutch open air festival and its 15.000 visitors, which includes the performances of artists like Daniele Mondello, PCP live (Marc Acardipane), Robert Armani, Ruffneck, Cherry Moon Trax, Tom Harding and many more.
The extra’s feature personal interviews with Lenny Dee, Manga Corps, Joe Inferno, Micha B and more artists, as well as a photo gallery with over 100 party pics and the official Ground Zero commercial.
