The saga continues......

With five previous Hard Bass compilation releases in collaboration with megastar hardstyle and jumpstyle artists such as Dana, The Beholder, Balistic, Supermarco May, Lady Tom, DJ Greg C, Technoboy and Stanton already behind us, Mid-Town Records and b2s present volume 6 in this highly successfull CD series. For this series, only the headline DJ's to perform on the almighty Hard Bass events will be approached to take on the challenge to compile and mix only the best tracks for these compilations.

After three completely sold out events at The Silverdome, Hard Bass returns on the 1st of April 2006 to this location with another spectacular theme: space. Two areas will be decorated NASA style; the main area, the "Launch Platform" programming strictly hardstyle, will be transformed into a huge space shuttle launch platform. One of the headline DJ's on the Launch Platform will be Dutch hardstyle icon Luna, who will do a back-to-back DJ set with his StraightOn Recordings label buddy Pila. For CD1 of Hard Bass Volume 6, Luna was willing and able to take care of the mix; expect 74 minutes of raging jump, tech and hardstyle massacre, tightly mixed by this uncrowned king of hardstyle. His energy and enthusiasm behind the turntables reflects perfectly on this disc.

Hard Bass area 2, the "Vehicle Assembly Building", will mainly be the domain of the young upcoming Belgian jumpstyle talent DJ Coone, the current resident of the popular Belgian club "Complex". For CD2 of Hard Bass Volume 6, this youngster selected and mixed 22 of the absolute best jumpstyle records in one steaming energetic mix with tight, flawless mixing and an impaccable choice of records. Coone describes his style as “All harder styles but never the same”; on CD2 of this compilation, he'll show the harder audience exactly what he means with this phrase.

"Hard Bass Volume 6 - Mixed by Luna & DJ Coone" will be presented during Hard Bass on the 1st of April @ Silverdome and will exclusively be available on this event; the very first opportunity to get your copy upfront! The commercial release will be a week after the event.
